Zed! FOR MAC

Zed! is a very easy-to-use OS X application designed to provide you with the possibility to quickly create encrypted archives containing different files and folders. Moreover, the Zed! app is also utilizing a compression mechanism designed to reduce the archive size, which makes the data transfer faster. Zed! is using the AES encryption algorithm (128 to 256 bits), and the archives will be decrypted only if you provide the correct password or the security certificate. Zed! is capable of encrypting both files and folders, preserving the hierarchy between them. The first time you launch Zed!, you must define your personal access key, which can be a password or a certificate file (.p12, .pfx). By default, each archive created with Zed! can be accessed with your credentials. Note that Zed! requires your password to open encrypted archives only when you launch the app (make sure you quit the app if you leave your computer to keep your archives protected). To get started with Zed!, you must create a new container and then add files and folders using the appropriate toolbar buttons or via simple drag and drop actions. The Zed! archives come with an access list for the encrypted container, and you must define the recipients and assign a password or a certificate file. If you intend to share your .zed archives, you will also have to provide these details to the recipient. Encrypting files and folders with Zed! is extremely easy thanks to its organized interface and intuitive workflow.
