Xpert-Timer BASIC


Xpert-Timer BASIC is a handy software tool that helps you track the time you spend on different projects. It also lets you create to-do lists and keeps a history of your projects. This tool is meant for individual users and supports reports that can be added to your invoices.



Getting Started with Xpert-Timer BASIC


When you first open Xpert-Timer BASIC, the interface might look a bit overwhelming. Don’t worry! It’s just packed with tons of settings to help define your projects and subprojects.



Your Personal Timebar


Alongside the main window, there’s a simple panel called the Timebar. You can move this around your desktop so you can quickly control important parts of your project.



Help at Your Fingertips


If you ever feel lost, there’s a help manual included with the software. It gives you all the details about timing features and how to use them effectively.



Setting Up Users and Projects


You can set up new users by entering their username, first name, last name, billing unit, price per unit, and working hours. To define a new project, just add some general details like description, type (like Administration or Consulting), timestamps for major tasks or subprojects, and status (like Canceled or Paused).



Customize Your Experience


Xpert-Timer BASIC lets you set billing parameters too! You can create subprojects with unique settings, assign tasks to current projects, add timestamps for activities, generate reports on what you've done, enable email notifications, and even check out charts!



Report Insights


You can easily view activity reports for your projects. The program allows printing data or creating PDF/RTF files that include important information about your work. Need to share it? You can email these reports directly from the software!



Filtering Your Data


The reporting module gives an overview of project times filtered by day, week, month, year or specific date ranges. You can print sample reports based on activity and working hours too!
