What is XHSI FOR MAC?

XHSI

XHSI is a cool addon for X-Plane that adds a high-resolution Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI). You might be wondering, what's an HSI? Well, it's super important for pilots because it helps them navigate, especially on commercial jetliners!

What Does XHSI Do?

So, here's how it works: XHSI includes an X-Plane plugin that grabs all the HSI-related data from the flight simulator. It then sends this info via UDP to a Java application. This app simulates the HSI display you'd find in a Boeing 737 NG.

How It Enhances Your Flight Experience

This addon really makes your flight experience more realistic by showing you an HSI display just like the ones used in modern jets. Imagine flying and having all that crucial navigation info right in front of you, just like real pilots do!

Important Note About XHSI

NOTE: Keep in mind that XHSI is still in beta. This means it's not a complete version of what you'd find in a Boeing 737-NG yet, so there might be some bugs and missing features.
