What is XCA FOR MAC?

XCA

XCA is a user-friendly tool that helps you work with OpenSSL, certificates, and various types of keys. It makes managing RSA and DSA public keys super easy! With XCA, you can handle things like signing requests and revocation lists without any hassle.

Supported Formats

One of the cool things about XCA is that it supports not just the usual PEM and DER formats for certificates. You can also import and export PKCS#12 files (you might know them as *.pfx). Plus, it lets you manage certificate imports from PKCS#7 files too!

SmartCard Support

If you're into using SmartCards, XCA has your back! It supports keys on SmartCards through the PKCS#11 library interface. Usually, you'll get the right PKCS#11 library from your card's manufacturer.

Revocation Management

With XCA, if you ever need to revoke a certificate, it's straightforward. You can create and export a revocation list easily. Also, if you've got external revocation lists to check out, you can import those too and take a look.
