When you open Wordsearch Maker Junior, you get to pick between uppercase or lowercase letters for your word searches—whatever fits your style! The game board has eight by eight squares, so each word can be up to 8 characters long.

Add Words and Directions

To start adding words, just click on the square where you want the first letter to go. Click it again, and it'll turn green to show it's locked in place! To set the direction of your word (left, right, up, down, or even diagonal), just right-click on that square and choose your option from the menu.

Fill in the Blanks

Once you've picked the spot and direction for your word, type it out! Each letter will automatically fill its own square. After you've added all nine words, you can fill any empty squares with random letters. This makes the game even more challenging for kids!

Easily Save or Print Games

You can save each new game straight to your computer or print it out. Kids will love hunting for words with crayons or pencils on paper! Of course, they can also play saved games right on the computer using their mouse to mark off found words.
