Words is a handy tool that helps you boost your English vocabulary. It's perfect if you're getting ready for exams like the Graduate Record Examination, GMAT, SAT, or any other test that focuses on vocabulary.

Easy Setup and Use

You can easily download and unzip the package to start using Words right away, as long as you have Java installed. The setup is super straightforward, making it accessible for everyone. You'll find the commands easy to learn, plus the interface is clear-cut.

Engaging Learning Experience

The app quizzes you with multiple-choice questions. To pick an answer, just click on the corresponding number! If you're stuck on a word or want to skip ahead, no problem—just move to the next question or reveal the correct answer.

Master Your Vocabulary

If you master a term and want to hide it from future tests, just hit the default key! All your progress gets saved in TXT format in a special folder called “.words” inside the program directory.

Practice Sets Galore!

You get access to several practice sets right off the bat. Any extra categories you add will show up automatically in your menu. Once you’ve mastered all words in a set, that set will be disabled until you add more words!

Select Your Challenge Level

You can test yourself with all available words or choose specific ones like easy, difficult, clever, happy—basically anything from A to Z! You can even reset your test count or how many words you've mastered.

Track Your Progress

The program helps keep tabs on your learning journey by giving you grades ranging from D to A++. Plus, there's a built-in dictionary where you can look up new words along with their pronunciation and meanings. It also shows synonyms and categories they belong to!
