Description
WiPer is a straightforward OS X application specially designed to use statistical permutation test to detect inter-connected genes in co-expression networks.
By using WiPer, you will be able to handle extensive networks with over 1000 genes and conduct well over 1000 permutations.
However, the size of the network has a direct impact on the period of time required to perform the analysis and generate the desired results.
How to install and run: Unarchive, open a Terminal window, go to WiPer's folder and run the following command from the command line:
java –jar wiper.jar
You also have to provide the name of the network file along with the name of the file containing the query notes and desire number of random permutations.
