Getting Started with WiPeer

The first time you fire up WiPeer, you’ll need to pick a username for logging in. Don’t worry; you can set it up so it logs you in automatically next time!

User-Friendly Interface

One of the best things about WiPeer is its easy-to-use design. It has a multi-tabbed layout that helps you keep track of your contacts, see who’s online, jump into chat rooms, and manage shared files. Plus, you can quickly switch your status to Offline, Online, Busy, or Away.

Connection Options

This program gives you lots of control over your network connection. You can activate or deactivate connections, log out when you're done, reset your Wi-Fi connection, and tweak different settings for either wireless or Ethernet connections.

If you're going with Wi-Fi, you can use the network you're already connected to or create a new one. Just enter some info like SSID and IP address to get started!

Create Your Profile

You can also make a user profile by adding details like your full name, age, location, and even a profile picture (just make sure it's in JPG format!). This way, other users can know more about you.

Chatting and Sharing Files

WiPeer shows you who's online along with their status and nickname. A quick right-click on an online user lets you start chatting with them or sharing files easily! You can also add them to your contacts.

Search Across Your Network

You can search for documents on any computer that's connected to the same WiPeer network (but keep in mind this only works if they have Google Desktop Search installed).
