When you first open up WiPeer, you’ll need to pick a username for logging in. You can also set it up to log you in automatically next time. How cool is that?

The interface is really user-friendly! It has a multi-tabbed layout, making it easy to manage your contacts, see who’s online, join chat rooms, and check out shared files. Plus, you can change your status between Offline, Online, Busy, or Away without any hassle.

Connection Options

You can easily activate or deactivate your connection whenever you want. If things are acting funny with your Wi-Fi or Ethernet connections, you can reset them right there in the app. You also have options to create a private group and save your settings for later.

Wi-Fi Connections Made Easy

If you're using Wi-Fi, it lets you use the current network or even pick an existing one. Want to get fancy? You can create a new wireless P2P network by entering details like SSID and IP address.

Create Your User Profile

With WiPeer, you're not just another username. You can build a profile with info like your full name, age, location—pretty much everything! And if you've got a cool picture in JPG format? Go ahead and upload it!

Chatting Made Simple

The app shows who’s online along with their status and nickname. If someone catches your eye, right-clicking on their name lets you chat with them or send files easily. You can even add them to your contacts list!

You’ll also find a complete list of all your contacts. Choose whether to have private chats or join public ones! Sharing files is as simple as dragging and dropping them into the chat window.

Games & File Searches

Want some fun? WiPeer lets you pick from several games to play with other users too! Oh, and if you're looking for documents on connected computers? There's a search feature for that as long as Google Desktop Search is running.
