WinSleep Monitor is a handy tool that works with WinSleep. It lets you set up remote connections to all your network PCs. This way, you can keep an eye on the WinSleep stats from anywhere! Basically, it's like having a remote viewer for WinSleep. It collects data from computers using WinSleep, so you can check how long your PC has been asleep or awake and see all the other info that WinSleep gathers.
The main goal of WinSleep is to help users create energy-efficient sleep and wake schedules. By doing this, it helps save power when your machine isn’t in use. WinSleep tracks when your PC is awake, hibernating, sleeping, or turned off. Plus, it even lets users force their machines to stay awake if needed.
You can view all the cool data collected by WinSleep using WinSleep Monitor, but first, you'll need to set things up on the client app. Just head over to the 'Preferences' window on the remote PC and enter the name and IP address of the computer hosting WinSleep Monitor.
The main window of WinSleep Monitor shows a list of all connected client applications along with their IP addresses, ports, polling time intervals, and how much data has been sent or received. It's super organized!
You’ll also find a timeline graph in both WinSleep and WinSleep Monitor. This graph helps you keep track of your computer usage easily. You can dive into the sleep journal too! It shows when your PC went into sleep mode and why it woke up.
WinSleep Monitor asks for data from each client at regular intervals. So as long as your remote connection is active, you'll always have fresh info! Remember though—WinSleep Monitor only shows data; it doesn’t let you change sleep schedules remotely.
