WinSleep Monitor is a handy tool that works with WinSleep. It lets you set up remote connections to all your network PCs and keep an eye on the WinSleep stats from wherever you are. In short, it’s like a remote viewer for WinSleep, pulling data from computers using WinSleep so you can easily check their sleep and awake sessions, along with all the other info it gathers.

What Does WinSleep Do?

The main aim of WinSleep is to help users create energy-efficient sleep and wake schedules. This means saving power when your computer isn't being used. It tracks how long your PC is awake, hibernating, sleeping, or turned off. Plus, it even lets you force the machine to stay awake if needed!

Using WinSleep Monitor Remotely

You can view all the data collected by WinSleep through WinSleep Monitor as long as you have authorized access to the client app. To get started with Download it, head over to the 'Preferences' window on the remote PC's client application. Just enter the name and IP address of the PC hosting WinSleep Monitor.

Your Dashboard of Info

The main window of WinSleep Monitor shows a list of all connected client apps along with their IP addresses, port numbers, polling time intervals, and data sent or received. This makes it super easy to see what’s happening across your network!

Keep Track with Timeline Graphs

You’ll also find timeline graphs in both WinSleep and WinSleep Monitor. This means you can keep close tabs on computer usage over time! Plus, you can check out the sleep journal that shows when each PC went into sleep mode and why it woke up.

Real-Time Updates at Your Fingertips

WinSleep Monitor requests data from each client at set intervals, so those timeline graphs stay up-to-date as long as your remote connection is active. It’s super convenient for managing multiple PCs!

A Viewer Only – No Changes Allowed

Remember that while WinSleep Monitor gives you valuable insights into sleep sessions on target computers, it's mainly a data viewer. You won’t be able to change any sleep schedules remotely through this tool.
