Getting Started with Window Switch

Installing this software might take a little time, but don’t worry—you won’t need to mess with any complicated settings while it’s loading. Once it’s up and running, you’ll see an icon pop up in your system tray. This gives you quick access to create new connections, start desktop or app sessions, and change some settings in Window Switch.

Connecting to Hosts

You can connect to as many hosts as you like by entering their host name or IP address, along with your user name and password. You also get to choose the protocol and port (SSH or direct link). Plus, there are options for checking identification and tweaking some advanced connection settings. This includes things like line speed, timeout settings, command port (whether it's auto or manual), admin login, SSH tunneling, and even SSH tunnel preloading!

Managing Connections

To connect PCs smoothly, you'll need key fingerprinting. This means you can open SSH key files and public key files easily. You can also manage permissions for accessing local files or handling sound—like sending or receiving audio.

Remote Sessions Made Easy

With Window Switch, starting a remote application or desktop session is a breeze! You can see all the users connected at any time and set up shortcuts for quick access. It even lets you automatically connect to hosts every time without hassle! The program will resume connections and start up with Windows until you decide otherwise.
