Download Wikipedia Database

Before diving in, keep in mind that you'll need to download the Wikipedia database file from the internet. Don’t worry; there are links right on the main panel that guide you to different backups where you can grab your XML file. You can even pick your preferred language!

Importing Made Simple

Once you've got that XML file downloaded, importing it into WikiTaxi's database is a breeze. Depending on how big the file is, it might take a little time to load everything up into the app's main panel.

Browsing Offline Content

After importing is done, you're all set to explore Wikipedia content offline! To save some space later on, feel free to delete the XML file since WikiTaxi won’t need it anymore.

Search Features

With WikiTaxi, you can browse randomly or search for specific topics by typing in a page name or query. It’ll only show pages that match all your search terms and can even find exact phrases or exclude certain words from results.
