The first time you open the app, it checks if you have some essentials like Rosetta, Wine, and the Game Porting Toolkit. Don't worry! It can download Wine automatically for you. Just keep in mind that you'll need your own GPTK DMG file, which requires an Apple Developer account to grab. Also, remember that GPTK officially works only on macOS Sonoma.

Create Your First Bottle

Installing Programs and Games

The process doesn't stop there! Installing programs or games? Just pick your bottle, hit Run, and find the installer's executable file. If you've got portable apps handy, you can simply drag them over to the C drive via the GUI!

Managing Your Games

After everything's installed, accessing your applications and games is super simple! They’ll show up in the Programs list where you can even favorite them for quick access on your main dashboard. Just tap that green play button whenever you're ready to dive in.

If you're using macOS Sonoma and want to play some cool games not available for Mac yet, Whisky is perfect for you! It relies heavily on Apple’s Game Porting Toolkit but does have some quirks if you're trying it out on older versions like Ventura.
