Description

WebZIP

WebZIP is a handy tool that lets you download and save entire websites or just parts of them. Imagine having your own library of offline websites that you can visit anytime without needing the internet!

Easy to Use Interface

The interface of WebZIP is pretty attractive and easy to get around. Sure, it might seem a bit confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it quickly!

Creating a New Project

To start using WebZIP, all you need to do is create a new project. Just give it a name, pick a folder or category for your downloads, enter one or more URLs, and set where you want to save everything.

Customizing Your Downloads

You can really customize how you download sites! You can choose a predefined download method, decide what file types to grab during the download process, and even set how many levels deep WebZIP should go when following links. Want more control? You can add URL filters too! This means you can specify URLs that must include certain characters or words. Plus, there are options for excluding filters as well.

Monitoring Your Download Progress

While your downloads are happening, check out the "Now Downloading" area. It shows how many files have been downloaded so far! Once everything's done—whether it takes seconds or hours—you can compress the content or save it in HTML format if you've got FAR installed on your computer.

Extra Features and Settings

You also have some neat options like switching to full-screen mode, turning off the navigation pane, popping up a save list, connecting via proxy servers, adjusting browser speed, disabling popups, changing text size, and even switching to design mode.

A Few Drawbacks

There was one time when the program crashed while we were trying to switch modes. And yes, the user guide feels a bit outdated. But overall? WebZIP does its job well without hogging too many system resources. We could view all content from the websites we downloaded!
