WebSpeak is a super cool program that can really bring your web page to life! Imagine this: when someone visits your site, a Microsoft Agent character pops up and starts chatting away. How fun is that?
Easy to Use
The best part? You don’t need to be a coding whiz to make it work. WebSpeak does all the heavy lifting for you by creating the code automatically. You can program the character to say whatever you want or choose from tons of animations. It’s as easy as pie!
System Requirements
Before diving in, here are the requirements:
- Internet Explorer version 3.02 or later
- A Pentium 75 MHz PC (or faster)
- At least 16MB of RAM
Previewing Your Web Page
If you want to preview what you’ve created with WebSpeak, make sure you have:
- A Windows-compatible sound card
- Microsoft Agent 2.0 Control (this will download automatically when you visit an Agent web site)
- A browser that supports ActiveX technology—like Internet Explorer 3.02 or newer.
Limitations of the Trial Version
Just a heads-up: If you're using the trial version, keep in mind that you won’t be able to save your projects.
