What is WebClapper?

WebClapper is a super user-friendly tool that lets you capture images and record clips easily. It creates JPEG and AVI files, so you can pick what works best for you. Plus, you can tweak some video settings like brightness and contrast to get everything just right.

Easy-to-Use Interface

The interface is pretty neat! It's nicely integrated into the program, sitting on a slight layer of opacity over the camera capture window. You won’t have to search around; everything is right where you need it.

Simplified Capture and Recording

You’ll notice two main buttons in the lower right corner for all your capturing needs: “Capture” and “Record.” With just one click on the “Capture” button, boom—there’s your JPEG file! And clicking “Record” gives you an AVI output file just as easily.

Automatic File Naming

Both file types are automatically named with the date, making it easy to keep track of your captures. The images get saved in your default Windows folders, like My Pictures and Videos. No more hunting through endless folders!

Device Control Options

The other buttons at the bottom right help manage which devices you're using for capturing images or sounds if you have multiple options available. There’s even one for adjusting the resolution of your files!

Real-Time Adjustments

This utility also lets you adjust video settings like brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, and white balance on-the-fly before recording any images or clips. Talk about saving time!

A Great Tool for Quick Recordings

To sum it up, WebClapper is an awesome program for quick image and video recordings. The default output formats (JPEG and AVI) work well for most people.
