VSPropertyGenerator is a handy extension for Visual Studio.net. It makes creating and removing properties in C# classes super simple. If you've used the "Generate Getters/Setters" feature in Eclipse IDE, you’ll find this tool pretty familiar!

Getting Started with VSPropertyGenerator

Once you install it, you'll notice a new tool pop up in your Tools Menu called VSPropertyGenerator. To get going, just open any C# source file. Then, run the tool and voila! A dialog box will appear that looks like the screenshot below.

How to Use It Effectively

The interface is straightforward. You’ll see checkboxes next to options labeled Get and Set. If you want to create a get property, just check the box next to Get. Want to make a set property? Check the box next to Set.

Removing Properties Made Easy

If you decide you don’t want a property anymore, it’s easy! Just uncheck the corresponding checkbox, and the tool will remove that property from your class.
