Description
The Vonage Dialer sidebar gadget was developed to be a small tool that will allow you to dial Vonage numbers.
Instructions:
1. Click Settings.
2. Enter the username and password you use to sign onto the Vonage web site.
3. Enter you Vonage # as the "From Number". If you have more than one Vonage line, enter the one you want to show up on caller ID.
The From Number must be entered as all numbers with a 1 in front (e.g., 15551234567 ).
4. Save Settings.
5. Now simply type (or paste) the number you want to dial into the gadget input field, and click the green Dial icon. Vonage will first call your number. Once you answer your phone, you will hear the ringing as Vonage places the call to the number you entered.
Notes:
A. You must be at the same location as your Vonage number, as the gadget will first call you and then attempt to place your call.
B. Valid "To Number" formats:
5551234567
555-123-4567
704.123.4567
(555)123-4567
Whitespace is ignored.
A leading "1" is optional.
