Vitrite is a super handy little tool that lets you control how transparent your windows are on your computer. It’s like having magic powers for your screen! This cool feature works with Windows 2000/XP and all versions after that.

How to Use Vitrite

Once you open Vitrite, it quietly hangs out in the system tray at the bottom right corner of your screen. If you want to adjust the transparency of a window, just click on it to bring it into focus. Then, hold down Ctrl + Shift and tap any number from 1 to 9 on your keyboard. Here’s the fun part: each number gives you a different level of transparency! For example, if you hit '1', your window becomes 90% see-through, while hitting '9' makes it only 10% transparent. There are seven levels in between too!

Keeping Windows on Top

But wait, there’s more! Vitrite can also make a window stay on top of everything else. Just press Ctrl + Shift + +, and voila! Your active window floats above all others. Press those keys again to switch it back so other windows can take their turn.
