Description
Virago is a multi-webcam video surveillance software for GNU/Linux systems. Virago is the result of four months of intense development performed by four Computer Science students from the University Rovira i Virgili from Tarragona. This project has been done for the subject Computing Systems I.
The main goal was to create an scalable, multiplatform, efficient and faster surveillance application using Open Source. To do this a multiplatform client developed in Mono and a C++ server architecture using some libraries (as Qt 4.2 , libdaemon, etc) were used.
