Viewer ActiveX Control

Viewer ActiveX Control is a handy tool that lets you show images in full resolution for almost all multimedia file formats. It can also give you detailed info about the images, like their size and bit per pixel format.

Animations Made Easy

If you have animated GIFs, no problem! The Viewer will analyze these files and play the animation or show individual frames. You have full control over how animations behave—whether they start automatically or wait for your command.

The Viewer can easily process icons and static cursors to display any images they contain.

Smooth Alpha Blending for Transparency

Your transparent images will keep their transparency intact. Any new 32-bit images with an alpha channel will blend perfectly with the background. This includes XP icons and transparent PNG files!

Easily Adjust Image Size

You can quickly enlarge or shrink displayed images on the fly! With zoom options ranging from 0.25 to 30 times normal size, you can see every detail clearly. Plus, if you set it to high-quality rendering, the results are super smooth.

Automatic Zoom Features

The Viewer comes with five automatic zoom presets that help fit your needs:

• Normal Mode: Shows images in actual dimensions.


• Shrink & Stretch: Resizes accordingly.


• Fit: Resizes while keeping aspect ratio.


• Fill: Stretches to fill the window.

Tiling Images for Unique Views

The Viewer control can also tile images across the viewing area—this works even for transparent or alpha blended ones!

High-Quality Rendering Options

The control offers three quality modes that affect how shrunk or stretched images look. If you select “High,” you’ll get super detailed and smooth visuals using advanced technologies!

Get Detailed Image Info

It extracts information from any image loaded into it or contained within icon files. You’ll find details like width, height, resolution, bits per pixel—plus any extra metadata included in the file!

Customizable Backgrounds
