USB Raptor is a nifty tool that turns your USB drive into a key for locking and unlocking your computer. This way, you can keep your private data safe from nosy folks when you're away from your PC.

Easy Setup for Everyone

Getting started with USB Raptor is super simple! The options are clear and easy to access. First, you'll need to plug in your USB flash drive so that USB Raptor can find its serial number.

Creating Your Security Key

The first step is to set a password for your USB device and create a lock file that will be saved on the removable drive. Whenever you connect this flash drive to the computer, USB Raptor will look for the key to unlock it.

Selecting Lock Modes

You can choose between two lock modes: 'System lock' and 'USB Raptor lock'. Feel free to customize things like using a random color for the lock screen or changing it up every once in a while. You can even mute the PC volume during lockdown and add a 5-second delay if you need time to cancel.

Unlocking Made Easy

Once you've got everything set up, unlocking your computer is automatic when you insert the right USB flash drive—if USB Raptor is armed. But there’s also an option to unlock using a master key by sending a valid network message or entering the password on the lock screen.

Your Personal Security Key

With USB Raptor, your USB flash drive becomes a security key for your computer, blocking access to files while you're not around. Plus, it has alternative unlocking methods to prevent any accidental lockdowns!

Password Protection for Extra Safety

If you want even more protection, you can password-protect access to the USB Raptor interface. This keeps others from changing your password or settings without permission.
