Are you looking to create your very own custom Linux distribution based on Ubuntu? Look no further than Ubuntu Builder FOR LINUX, a simple and free graphical utility designed to help you build your personalized Linux OS.
For users' convenience, Ubuntu Builder is distributed as a Personal Package Archive (PPA) for Ubuntu and its derivatives. Follow these simple steps to install the application:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:f-muriana/ubuntu-builder
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-builder
If you prefer manual installation, download the latest version from Softpedia as a native installer in the DEB file format. Install with Gdebi, dpkg, or Ubuntu Software Center.
The intuitive GUI allows you to select an ISO image and start customizing it to your liking. Choose a desktop environment, install packages, modify the graphical installer, and more.
It's important to note that the Ubuntu Builder project is no longer under active development as of March 2014. While it may not be compatible with recent Ubuntu versions, it still offers a unique opportunity to create your custom Linux distro.
