TSScan is a remote terminal service utility designed to help you scan documents and save them as images or PDF, but without having to bother with installing the scanner drivers on your main machine.
Simply put, the program can act as a virtual scanner for your terminal server. As a result, the tool first needs to map all locally available scanners that are stored in the virtual DS of the host.
In case you are concerned about security, then you will be happy to learn that all the communication is done locally using the dynamic redirection of TWAIN technology.
Remember that you need to activate specific settings to use TSScan effectively. To get the configuration window, install the server app via an account with Administrator privileges.
Accessing the app as Administrator allows you to transfer RAW images, compress images, and enable support for bundled memory transfer, sending each picture as a package to the host.
Make sure to confirm that your scanners support the TWAIN protocol before using TSScan.
