How Does TS Password Change Work?

The cool part about this utility is that it allows admins to publish TSPassChg as a separate app in Citrix Program Neighborhood or even in a desktop environment. It makes changing passwords super simple! All users need to do is launch the TSPassChg app.

Password Policy Compliance

This application follows the Active Directory (AD) and NT Password Policies that are set up in your environment. If someone tries to change their password and it doesn't meet the policy, they’ll see an appropriate error message. No one wants to get stuck trying to guess the rules!

Works Beyond Terminal Servers

You might think this tool only works on Terminal Server or Citrix setups, but that's not true! It actually functions well on non-TS/Citrix workstations and servers too. So, if you’re using it outside of those environments, you’re still covered!

User Rights Matter

NOTE: It's important for users to have permission to change their passwords within the Domain. If you're an admin, just go into Active Directory Users and Computers. Find the user, open their properties, and under the account tab, make sure to untick USER CANNOT CHANGE PASSWORD. This way, they'll be able to manage their own passwords without any issues!
