But here’s the catch—if you’re using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), those bitmaps don’t show up. Instead, WPF just displays the outlines of these fonts.
Issues with Font Legibility
Now, here’s where it gets tricky. The outlines that WPF shows aren’t really designed for good legibility. Because of this, text can look pretty rough and hard to read. Luckily, there are better options! Microsoft JhengHei Regular and Bold Version 5.00 have been specially designed to make sure they look great at 9 point size or larger.
