Toprammer FOR LINUX
Toprammer is an open-source software for the TOP2049 universal programmer. It is written in Python, making it highly portable. Currently tested on Linux, it should run on systems with the "python-usb" module.
Key Features:
- Supports Atmel AT89C2051, AtMega32, AtMega8, AtMega88, AtTiny13, M2764A EPROM, and Winbond W29EE011 EEPROM chips
- Hardware and USB Protocol Reverse Engineering mostly completed
- Potential to implement new programming algorithms
- Includes a generic device tester application (toprammer-unitest)
Planned Support:
Future plans include support for other "TOP" devices like TOP2007, TOP3000, and TOP3100.
Customization:
Due to its open-source nature, new chip support can be added as needed. Users can also implement algorithms for chips not supported by other software.
Compatibility:
Toprammer currently supports Linux systems but has the potential to run on other platforms that have the necessary "python-usb" module.
Testing Capabilities:
The included device tester application allows manual manipulation of pins for testing chips and microcontroller programs.
