Tonality CK

Tonality CK is an awesome app for Mac OS X that lets you play around with monochrome photography effects. It’s like having a mini art studio right on your computer! With over 150 different presets, you can really dive into the black and white look and feel for your images.

Standalone or Integrated?

This app works great on its own, but it can also team up with other popular image editors like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Photoshop Elements, and Apple Aperture. Just make sure you've got one of those installed first! Then you can easily add the Tonality CK plug-ins to enhance your editing experience.

User-Friendly Interface

The layout of Tonality CK is super stylish and easy to navigate. The main area is dedicated to your image canvas, while panels at the bottom and on the right give you access to all sorts of functions and customization options. It’s designed so you can focus on creating without feeling overwhelmed.

Inside the Tonality CK window, you'll find handy tools like an image histogram for visualizing light levels. You can also add multiple layers or tweak settings for tonality, clarity, structure, color filters, lens blur, texture overlays—there's a lot you can do!

This app includes tons of presets sorted into different categories such as basic, architecture, portrait, dramatic scenes, outdoor shots, street photography vibes, vintage looks, film emulation styles, toning options, and HDR effects. You can easily browse these through a panel at the bottom of the main window and apply any preset with just a click!
