The Fader is a cool, free preset plugin for Lightroom that really shakes things up! Instead of being stuck with those boring static 100% presets, this plugin lets you choose exactly how much of the preset you want to use. Pretty neat, right?

Dynamic Control Over Your Edits

What’s even better? The Fader can take your edits up to 150%! So, if you’re feeling adventurous, go ahead and over-process your images! And if cross-processing isn’t your thing, no worries—you can dial it back by using the slider to reduce it by up to 50%!

How to Use The Fader

Using The Fader is super simple. First off, pick the photo you want to edit (a larger size works best). Then, launch the plugin from the Plugin Extras menu. After that, just choose the preset you’d like to apply and adjust the slider to get your desired effect.

Accept or Cancel Your Changes

Once you're happy with how things look, hit OK to keep the results. If you're not quite there yet and want to stick with what you had before, just click cancel and everything stays as is.
