Tennis Speed Radar is a fun and dynamic piece of software made just for Windows 8. You can grab it directly from the Store. Its main job? Helping you figure out how fast a tennis shot is by using recorded videos. Pretty cool, right?

Easy-to-Use Interface

The interface is super simple and easy to navigate. You can quickly load the video file you want to check out, but keep in mind it only works with MP4 format files. No other formats here!

Built-in Video Player

One of the neat features is its built-in video player. You can watch your video, and when the tennis player hits the ball, you can mark that spot. You’ll have control over exactly when to mark it using your mouse and some handy buttons.

Setting Up Preferences

Before diving in, it’s a good idea to tweak Tennis Speed Radar’s ‘Preferences’. Choose between metric or imperial unit systems, and don’t forget to input the height of the player! This helps get a more accurate speed estimate.

Loading Your Video

Once you're set up, click on the ‘Open Video’ button. Browse through your system to find the video file you want and load it into Tennis Speed Radar. Hit render and wait for your moment!

Marking the Moment

When you see the player hit the ball, click on the ‘Hit’ button to pause it right there. This lets you fine-tune that exact moment! You can even save that part of the video and add comments or share it with friends online.

Speed Analysis Made Fun

Tennis Speed Radar isn’t just about finding out how fast one shot was; it also gives you details like initial speed, average speed, and rebound speed! This means you can see just how fast your favorite players are smashing those balls.
