What is TaskbarXI?

This app was created by the same developer who brought us TaskbarX (formerly known as FalconX). Think of TaskbarXI as the upgraded version for Windows 11! It’s lightweight and lets you change how your taskbar looks. Once you start it up, your Windows 11 taskbar transforms into a dock-like appearance—though it won’t float like what you see on Mac OS.

How Does It Work?

The magic happens when the empty spaces on your taskbar disappear, leaving more room for your pinned icons. You can choose to have your taskbar centered or aligned to the left, and guess what? It works like a charm even if you have multiple monitors! All screens get the same customized look.

Your Two Docks

One of the cool features is that it doesn’t just tweak one part of the taskbar; it creates two docks! One dock holds all your pinned icons, while the other showcases the system tray area and clock. When you open a maximized window, everything goes back to normal, so it's easy to switch between styles.

A Few Limitations

Right now, TaskbarXI doesn’t have a standard graphical user interface (GUI), which means you can’t tweak how it works much at this point. It would be awesome if users could adjust things like transparency, colors, or background styles in future updates. But for now, it’s still an interesting option for anyone looking to spice up their Windows 11 experience.
