Description

SurfEasy VPN is an approachable piece of software which enables you to anonymously connect to the Internet and thus protect your identity. It features several intuitive settings that should be easy to figure out by users, even the ones with little experience in Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).

The installation procedure is a speedy and easy job which does not require special attention. At startup it is necessary to create an account by inputting an email address and password (confirmation via email is not necessary).

Once launched, the tool creates an icon in the taskbar notifications area and immediately becomes active. Configuration settings are available when opening the icon's left or right-click menu.

It is possible to select a country from the list to connect to, disable SurfEasy VPN from automatically running at system startup, sign out or exit, disconnect, check for newer software updates, as well as view total traffic. There are no other noteworthy options available here.

There were no kind of stability issues in our tests, since SurfEasy VPN did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It has a good response time and runs on low CPU and memory, so it does not hog system resources. On the other hand, it is not possible to select an exact IP address to connect to. Nevertheless, SurfEasy VPN gets the job done and comes in handy to all users who want to protect their online identity and freely navigate the web.
