Super Grub Disk is an open source utility oriented towards system rescue tasks, specifically designed for repairing the GRUB bootloader of a Linux-based operating system. This edition supports only GRUB Legacy, for GRUB2 you should see the Super Grub2 Disk software.

The truth is that Super Grub Disk is a deprecated software. It can still be used to boot broken GRUB Legacy bootloaders, but we strongly suggest downloading the new and improved version, Super Grub2 Disk.
