Defending Against Brute Force Attacks

Brute Force is a sneaky hacking method where attackers try every possible password until they find the right one. SunFirewall automatically catches IPs that attempt multiple logins with wrong passwords. You can see these IPs listed in a preview panel along with details like location, country, and time zone.

Limiting Login Attempts

The app suggests limiting login attempts to three tries to avoid mistakes. But hey, if you want to allow more attempts, you can! If an IP gets blocked by accident, no worries—you can easily clear it from the list.

Keeping an Eye on Connections

A user gets flagged as “suspected” if their connection location changes quickly. For instance, if someone logs in from the USA and then suddenly connects from China, the system will mark them as suspicious.
