Perfect for Backing Up Files

StoreMan is perfect for backing up or storing files on NAS boxes or USB drives. It also makes searching for files super easy, and you don’t even need to keep your storage devices connected all the time!

Easy Installation Steps

Getting StoreMan set up is a breeze! Just follow these simple steps:

  • Unzip the downloaded file and copy the StoreMan folder to where you want it.

  • If you're on Linux, a good spot is /opt/StoreMan.

  • You’ll need Python version 2.4.x, 2.5.x, or 2.6.x installed (most Linux systems have this by default).

  • Install wxPython 2.8.x (you can find this as a package python-wxgtk2.8 on Ubuntu) or better.

  • Locate storeman.pyw and double-click it, or run it from the command line.

How to Run StoreMan

If you're on Linux, type: python ./storeman.pyw. For Windows, use: pythonw .storeman.pyw.
