The Stamp application is a handy little command line tool that helps you change the date and time stamps of files. Imagine you want to update all your .EXE files at once. You can do this by typing in something like STAMP *.EXE 1:00:00 5/23/96. This will change the date and time stamp for all those .EXE files to 1 AM on May 23rd, 1996. Easy peasy!
If you forget to include either the date or the time, don't worry! The Stamp app will automatically use the current date or time instead. For example, if you just type STAMP ., it will update all your files to the current date and time.
Here's a cool note: if you're using the 32-bit version of Stamp, it's capable of changing three types of dates—creation, modification, and access. So it covers all bases!
This tool is perfect for anyone needing to manage file dates without much hassle. It's straightforward and saves you time! Want to give it a try? You can download The Stamp Application here.
