SkyNX is a handy little tool that lets you stream your PC games right to your Nintendo Switch over your local network. You won’t even need an Android device for this!

Getting Started with SkyNX

First things first, you'll need to pop out the MicroSD card from your Nintendo Switch and connect it to your computer. This is super important for SkyNX to work like a charm. After that, make sure you grab the Nintendo app and copy it onto the root of that MicroSD card.

No worries about losing anything; the app just puts all the necessary files where both systems can easily access them.

Reinsert the MicroSD Card

Once you've transferred everything, go ahead and put the MicroSD card back into your Switch. If you want quick access, think about installing the app on your home screen. But if you're not into that, you can always find it in the Homebrew main menu when you're ready to launch it.

Connecting Your Devices

When you launch the app, it'll show you an IP address. Just type this into the Windows app to set up your connection!

User-Friendly Interface

The SkyNX interface looks like a settings window where you can enter your IP address, choose streaming quality, switch A-B and X-Y buttons based on what game you're playing, and tweak audio and video settings. If you're having any issues with sound or video, just check those settings and ensure all drivers are installed correctly.

Streaming Quality Tips

Your streaming quality will depend on how fast your Internet is. Typically, you'll have options ranging from 4 to 20 Mbps. If you've got a decent connection, setting it in the middle range usually works best; otherwise adjust as needed.

Resolution Settings

A good tip before jumping into streaming is to set your screen resolution to 1280 x 720—this matches what’s used by Nintendo Switch so you'll likely avoid any lag issues.
