Design Your Own Rockets

This software not only helps you whip up some amazing designs but also calculates important details like center of gravity, center of pressure, stability, rocket length, and mass. Pretty neat, right?

2D Designs with 3D Views

All your models are created in 2D, but you can check them out in 3D! You can even see them move around as if they were flying through space. You get to twist and turn your designs around their axes, giving you a full picture of how they'll look.

User-Friendly Interface

The main window of SkyCad is really easy to use. It has several menus that showcase all the program's features. You won't feel lost exploring this software!

Your Workspace

A big chunk of the screen is dedicated to your prototype. On the left side, there's a toolbar stuffed with elements you can add to your model—like engines, mass objects, body tubes, noses, and ballast.

Add Objects Easily

When you drag a new object into your design, it'll ask you for its starting size. But don't worry! You can change these dimensions anytime by double-clicking on the object.

Real-Time Calculations

The cool thing is that calculations happen in real-time. As soon as you tweak something in your design, SkyCad updates everything right away! Plus, there's a toolbar under the Objects area where you can measure lengths or angles yourself.

Save Your Work

You can save your models wherever you want and open them later when you're ready to continue working. If you're just getting started with rocket projects, there are built-in sample rockets available in the installation folder that you can check out.
