Simple Sync
Simple Sync is an AppleScript app that helps you sync a 'source' folder with a 'destination' folder. Think of it as a handy backup tool! It uses the UNIX shell script called 'rsync', so just a heads up, you use it at your own risk. Once a file gets deleted or overwritten, there’s no way to get it back.
Backup Made Easy
If you check the 'delete backup files' option, Simple Sync will remove files from your backup if they’re gone from the source folder. Basically, your backup becomes an exact copy of the source!
Keep Your Files Safe
If you leave this unchecked, don’t worry! Simple Sync will keep all files in the destination folder. Just know you'll need to clean them up manually later on.
Automate Your Backups
Want things to run on autopilot? Hit that 'auto run' button! This feature allows Simple Sync to start backing up automatically after giving you 5 seconds to cancel. If you change your mind and want to sync something else, just hit cancel before time’s up. Missed it? No stress—just quit the program and start over.
