SILKin allows you to analyze the kinship terminology and concepts from genealogical data and kin terms.
You will be able to draw family trees, label each member of the family, edit their details and add kin terms related to an Ego.
SILKin collects data to induce definitions for each kin term using a Machine Learning algorithm. When analyzing the data, SILKin also searches for potential synonyms, umbrella terms, or anomalies.
SILKin is a cross-platform utility capable of running on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
