The GUI is designed as a dashboard with the aforementioned features to the left and the larger tab, which enables you to do the mapping, to the right.

It is important to note that the button behavior doesn’t support key repeats. The reason for this stems from the fact that the tool was created mostly for the games the developer is currently enjoying, namely StarCitizen and DCS World. It is possible that the tool works equally well with Mechwarrior 5 and Star Wars Squadrons as well. As he goes on to explain, these games require minimalistic key up and key down to start and, respectively, stop and action.
