The app has a clean layout that's easy to navigate. On the left side, there’s a tree view that helps you find everything easily. You’ll also see a file viewer and editor, plus two tabs for your calendar and library. Everything is sorted into sections like cookbooks, shopping lists, menus, and supermarkets. Each section has its own categories to keep things organized.

Getting Started with the Setup Wizard

When you first open the app, you get a friendly setup wizard that walks you through some important steps. You can choose your language from options like English, French, Italian, or German. You also pick whether you want to use the US measurement system or metric. Plus, if you have data to import from your computer or want to start fresh, it’s all up to you!

Create Unlimited Recipes

Your cookbook can hold as many recipes as you want! Adding them is simple thanks to the quick toolbar. It even includes a basic word processor for typing out your recipes. However, keep in mind that while it's easy to add text titles and details like servings and prep time, there aren’t fancy formatting options like different font styles.

Add Ingredients Easily

You can also list all the ingredients needed by entering their quantity and name. If you want to add comments or pictures for better clarity, go right ahead! The shopping lists can include these ingredients too—making meal prep super simple.

A Database at Your Fingertips

This program comes with a large recipe database where you can grab ideas and add them directly into your menu or shopping list. If you've got favorite supermarkets, just enter their info into your personal index by providing their name and address.

Nutrition Tracking Made Simple

You can even note down nutritional info like calories and protein for each ingredient! When you're ready to share your data or save it for later, exporting options are available in SCX, MMF, HTML format—and plain text too!
