ServeToMe is a cool app that acts like the server part of the zqueue music streaming system. What it does is create a media streaming server for you, and then you can use the StreamToMe apps on your iOS or macOS devices to enjoy streamed videos and music. How awesome is that?

The best part? Both of these macOS apps are free! But if you're looking to access the ServeToMe media server from an iOS device, just keep in mind that you'll need to get the companion app, which is a paid product.

User-Friendly Interface

When you launch ServeToMe, it automatically starts up a media server. Plus, it puts a little status bar menu at the top so you can easily manage things like stopping the server when you need to. In the main window of ServeToMe, you'll find info on server status, local and external addresses, and even recent streams!

Adjust Your Settings Easily

This area lets you tweak video quality, set up an access password for extra security, choose specific ports, and even link your iTunes and iPhoto libraries. You can also view and add shared folders without breaking a sweat.

Advanced Settings Panel

If you're feeling techy, there's an Advanced Settings panel where you can toggle UPnP/NAT-PMP port mapping. You can disable external verification or change your network adapter address too! Want to set up a custom temporary directory? You got it!
