From the creator of Aladobix ERP, we introduce the Scrumix application, a web-based task and project management software that includes support for plugins and files, wiki and reporting, as well as milestones and multi-language support.

With Scrumix you can create and modify projects, administer project permissions, view reports, view all task statuses, create milestones, as well as to view all task types and priorities. It is a web-based application that runs on top of a web server, such as Apache.

This is the server version of the Scrumix project, especially designed for Linux operating systems, and can be used freely without any licenses. Also, keep in mind that all currently available plugins, including TaskBoard, are BSD licensed and can be freely redistributed and modified.

Please note that a Linux server operating system is required, such as Debian or CentOS. The software works with PostgreSQL 8.x and 9.x databases, Apache web server, PHP 5.3 or laters, as well as with the php5-pgsql, php5-imagick, php5-mcrypt, php5-xml, php5-json, php5-mhash, and php-apc PHP modules.

To get started with the Scrumix application, users will have to first download the latest release of the software from either its website or Softpedia, save the archive on a location of their choice (preferably their Home directory), and uncompress the archive with an archive manager utility.

Read the INSTALL file to correctly add APC modifications in the php.ini file by adjusting the max_file_size and memory_limit parameters to suite your needs, as well to create a PostgreSQL database and adjust the Apache configuration accordingly.

Start your web browser and point it to the location where you’ve placed the Scrumix files, usually http://localhost/. The installer will take care of the rest of the configuration.
