Description
SCLog
SCLog is a handy little tool for GNOME users. It’s designed to make life easier for folks like me who can’t help but check the Slackware current ChangeLog way too often. Seriously, if you find yourself clicking through those logs constantly, this might just be your new best friend!
How Does SCLog Work?
Once you pick a timeout and enter the ChangeLog URL, SCLog will automatically check for updates for you. If it finds any, it’ll change the icon in your tray area to show a white exclamation mark inside a red spot. You won’t miss any important updates!
Accessing Available Upgrades
When you click on that icon, a menu pops up! This menu lets you see any available upgrades, adjust your preferences, or even quit the app if you’re done with it for now. It’s super user-friendly!
Requirements:
- Locale::Maketext::Lexicon
- Gtk2::TrayIcon
- Gtk2
- Gnome2::VFS
- Gnome2::Canvas
- Gnome2
- Glib
What’s New in This Release?
- Improved package names parser.
- Addition of French translation by Stephane Roy.
