The app has a simple interface, kind of like a basic picture editor. You can draw your designs from scratch or just drag and drop images right into the program. Super easy!

Basic Editing Tools

You'll find some handy editing tools in there too! There are options like pencil, brush, line, text, fill, rectangle, and even a magic wand. Plus, you get zoom in/out features and undo/redo buttons to make your life easier.

Split Shapes for Characters

If you're working on multiple shapes for different characters in your new font, ScanFont can help with that! Just enable the option from the 'Operation' menu to split them up easily. Then you can name all those new characters however you like!

Customize Your Font Design

You can adjust things like tracing scale factor and even merge or split symbols as needed. In the 'Options' area, set margins and vertical alignment for glyphs. You can also tell the tool to ignore tiny spots when splitting symbols automatically.

User-Friendly Performance

This font processing app doesn't hog your computer's memory or CPU. It runs smoothly and comes with user documentation if you need it! Although we didn't hit any major bumps while testing it out, we did notice that the interface could use some updates since it hasn't changed much over time.
