What is RSSTicker?

RSS Ticker

RSS Ticker is a cool sidebar gadget that lets you pick your favorite RSS feed and turn it into a fun ticker. When it's docked, you can see the item titles in a neat ticker format. If you undock it, the ticker expands to show links and the date for each item. Plus, you can set how fast the ticker moves and how often it refreshes!

Customizing Your RSS Feed

You can easily customize everything using the Settings screen. Just enter your favorite RSS feed, which by default is set to BBC UK news. You’ll also find options there to change how quickly the ticker updates and how long it waits in minutes before refreshing its content.

Docked vs Undocked Mode

In docked mode, the ticker shows about 20 characters at a time. But if you switch to undocked mode, it widens up to display up to 90 characters! It even includes links for each item at the front of the ticker along with its creation date and time. Also, there’s a third line that gives some info about the RSS feed itself.
