Romi

Romi is a fun and simple board game made for Mac OS X. It's perfect for those who love playing Rummy against the computer! In this game, you get to combine three or more cards. These can either be consecutive tiles that belong to the same suit or tiles with the same value but from different suits.

Game Features

The Romi game includes two sets of cards, each with 52 tiles and two wild cards. You can play with two, three, or four players, but just a heads up—you'll be playing against the computer for those extra players. Unfortunately, there's no option to play against your friends just yet!

Customizable Difficulty Levels

You can pick your difficulty level—beginner, intermediate, or expert—depending on how confident you're feeling. Plus, you have the freedom to change the playing rules from standard to allowing 12-13-1 combinations! If you’re looking for speed, you can also set how fast or slow you want the game to go.

Personalize Your Experience

Want to make it more personal? You can switch up the background image or turn sound effects on or off. And don’t worry about changing settings every time; they save automatically between sessions!

Helpful Tools Within Romi

To help you during gameplay, Romi offers some handy features. It can quickly sort your tiles by number or suit and even validate your combinations. Plus, it shows which cards have been played and gives you options to clean up the board or restore cards as needed.

Scoring in Romi

The score panel keeps track of your latest score and shows how many games each player has won. It’s all about relaxing while practicing your strategic skills! You'll want to make the best combinations possible before another player closes out their turn. If the game ends and you've still got cards left on your board, don't forget that their values will be taken off your score!
