What is RealBench?

RealBench is a cool benchmarking tool that helps you check how well your system performs, especially when it's multitasking like crazy. If you've got at least 4GB of RAM, you can run it on pretty much any computer. But here's the catch: it was made by Asus, so only folks with Asus motherboards can upload their results to the Asus servers and compare them with others.

Understanding Your Test Results

Once you fire up RealBench, you'll see details about each test right away. It’s a good idea to read up on what’s available since the app gathers info about your system's setup.

The Four Benchmark Tests

RealBench has four main tests for you:

• Image Editing Test: The first test checks how your computer handles editing a complex image using the GIMP open-source editor. It gives you data on both computational power and memory performance during single-threaded operations.


• Video Editing Test: Next up is video editing! This one focuses on how well your computer deals with H.264 video editing, especially under multi-threaded conditions.


• GPU Evaluation: The OpenCL test puts your GPU through its paces using the Luxmark rendering test to see what it's really capable of.


• Heavy Multitasking Test: Lastly, there's the heavy multitasking test, which combines all previous tests to simulate a high-load scenario and check how your system holds up.

The Stress Test

A stress test is also included! This simulates extreme loads on your CPU. Just a heads-up: make sure you've got good cooling in place to keep everything safe!
